I'm Gabriel - a portrait and editorial photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. For the last decade I've photographed people for magazines, brands and themselves. My work sits somewhere between the composed and the caught - I'm after the half-second where someone forgets the camera is there.

I trained in classical portraiture and spent years shooting music and stage work, which taught me to find light in difficult rooms and calm in chaotic ones. That instinct carries into every commission, whether it's a quiet studio sitting or a full editorial production out in the desert.
